Teresa Alford was born and raised in Oklahoma, where she also came to know her Christian faith. She is the proud mother of five children, each of whom she cherishes deeply.

    Teresa’s love for children reaches far beyond her own family. She has devoted decades of her life to the fields of child welfare and adoption, guided by a steadfast commitment to planting seeds of hope, success, and the love of the Lord in the lives of the children and families she has served.

    Civically minded and community-driven, Teresa has served on numerous boards and committees, primarily in the social services sector. Alongside her peers, she helped establish the first Safe House for seniors in Wichita, Kansas. A firm believer in giving back, Teresa donates to various charities and lives by the principle of paying it forward.

    With a heart for service, Teresa strives to uplift others—spiritually, emotionally, and mentally—living each day by the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
