Jessie joins the Avenue941 Team as the Site Team Leader at Oneco Hope Global Methodist Church.  Her journey as an educator began in 2002 as an Elementary ESL Teacher in New Jersey.  Her passion for teaching developed as she worked alongside bilingual teachers and instructed her students.  In 2010, she relocated to Florida with her husband and two young sons.  God soon began to move on her heart regarding her sons’ education, leading her to homeschooling them through high school.  For the past fourteen years, God used educating her sons, as well as leading other students in their homeschool community, to expand her understanding of classical education and how God designed us to learn.  He also helped her utilize her skills and creativity to become a more effective educator.  In 2019, she and her husband began to invest in the youth group at their church.  God used her experiences to expand her love for teaching and grow a deep desire in her heart for discipleship and mentorship.

With her younger son graduating in April 2026, her season as a homeschooling parent concluded, yet her passion for teaching, discipleship and mentorship has only continued to grow. She came to know about Avenue941 through a friend and was fascinated with its mission.  She sees God’s perfect timing in leading her to this program, and she is truly grateful to become a part of this local ministry.

“May that God equip you with every good thing you need to do His will; and may He do in us whatever pleases Him, through Yeshua the Messiah. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”  Hebrews 13:21
