Jaycee Davis serves as Avenue941’s college intern. She first came to Avenue through St. George’s as an Avenue student and spent the past two years as the organization’s high school intern, supporting two Avenue sites, where students and volunteers alike came to rely on her. Now in her third year with Avenue, Jaycee has seen firsthand how a group of students who start the year barely tolerating one another can become something like family by the end of it, and that’s what keeps her coming back.
